In compliance with the General Data Protection Regulations 2016 (UK)and the Data Protection Act 2018 ( UK), this is how your data is dealt with.

Reset Stress is a mindset coaching business offering one to one sessions and group training.

Data Protection Principles
All data shall be:

  • Processed fairly and lawfully
  • Held only for specified purposes and not used or disclosed in any way incompatible with those purposes
  • Adequate and relevant
  • Accurate and up-to-date
  • Not kept for longer than is necessary for the purpose it was collected
  • Processed in accordance with the rights of data subjects
  • Kept secure
  • No transferred outside the European Union

What information may be collected?
Information collected may include names/address/email/contact numbers (landline & mobile)/bank details/staff details. Not all of this data will be personally identifiable information.

How will the information you provide be used?
The information will be used to:

  • Deliver the services as per agreed terms of business
  • To contact you regarding support/answer any queries you may raise
  • Invoice, billing and payment collection purposes
  • Fulfil any statutory or legal obligation
  • Provide you with useful articles and information

Any information you provide will not be used in any other way unless you have been informed.

Who has access to your information?
Jo McAlister of Reset Stress is the main person with access to your information. It may be necessary to share your information with 3rd parties, such as HMRC, banks, solicitors, local government departments or others as required.

Jo makes brief notes after each session, which are used to prepare for future sessions. Only she has access to this information.

How long will your information be kept for?
There is a statutory and legal obligation to keep information for a period of time. Jo's time limit is 5 years, only information that is required will be kept under these obligations.  Once information is no longer required it will be disposed of in a controlled and secure manner.

How will your information be protected?
Antivirus and password protection for computers together with identity codes for individuals are in place, designed to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, copying, or disclosure.



The rights of data subjects
The Regulation sets out the following rights applicable to data subjects:

  • The right to be informed;
  • The right of access;
  • The right to rectification;
  • The right to erasure (also known as the 'right to be forgotten');
  • The right to restrict processing;
  • The right to data portability;
  • The right to object;


Requesting information and complaints
Clients can request details of the information held by Reset Stress which relates to them. You can do this by email resetmystress@gmail.com.

If at any time a client is unhappy with how Reset Stress has processed or processes their data, wishes to make alterations to any data which they believe is incorrect, irrelevant or wishes to make an erasure request this can be done by email to reset stress at info@resetstress.co.uk. A response to any such requests will be made within the timescales defined in the Regulations.

If you feel your personal data was not handled or dealt with correctly by Reset Stress you may raise the issue with the Information Commissioners Office, (UK) on 0303 123 1113.
