Josephine Mc Alister
From an early age Josephine was intrigued by how emotions impact people and their lives differently.
This led her to a degree in Psychology followed by a Masters in Social Work and a Diploma in Counselling. Josephine has over 20 years’ experience in mental health, suicide prevention, fostering and bereavement-centred palliative care.
Frustrated by the lengthy approach of traditional therapies, Josephine believed that there was a more effective approach to stress management that could see long-term results with the correct supports in the short term.
Josephine embarked on extensive study into what stress really is, the impact it has on our lives, those close to us, and what we can do to resolve it.
Fully trained in Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Matrix Reimprinting and Modern Stress Management, these are the foundations of Josephine’s uniquely bespoke approach.
Josephine is an accredited member of The British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
